Expectation

 Expectation sat drinking coffee

waiting for its friend

the morning was bright and cheerful

after its third coffee

resentment arrived

instead of the friend

sat down smiling

resentment turned the morning gloomy

Expectation said nothing

got up walked home

played Bach

on the cello
