Dare I call them Psalms II

                                                 lord

                                                help me find 

                                                my inner eye

                                                to see my brothers and

                                                my sisters

                                                as they truly are in you

                                                black white yellow

                                                or brindle

                                                male or female or

                                                LGBTQIA with rainbows

                                                all are created in you

                                                to flourish world wide

Dare I call them Psalms

                                                                         lord

                                                                        sitting here

                                                                        the afternoon

                                                                        throwing shadows to remind 

                                                                        me to feed the animals

                                                                        before the sun sets

                                                                        evening falls lightly this time

                                                                        day has been kind
